My Philosophy…
THRIVE was created using my Healthy Foundations Method.
This method is rooted in my Functional Medicine Training and was created with the Actor and Performer at the heart and centre. When we address these four foundations we can achieve optimum health and wellbeing in our body and mind.
It is a culmination of the wisdom, knowledge and tools that I have developed over the past eight years, both from clinical practice and a career in acting.
Delivered in an affordable, accessible package that is suitable for you whatever stage of your career.
It was created with a passion to educate and empower Actors with the knowledge and resources you need to achieve optimum health and feel nourished, empowered and inspired in your work.

What are the Healthy Foundations..?

Nutrition & Diet
We are what we eat and more importantly what we absorb. Diet is the true foundation of health as our nutrients from food, form the building blocks of our cells and how they function.
We look at how to eat to nourish your body for optimum health. How to create nutritionally balanced meals and support blood glucose optimisation for better and sustained energy.
I will also share recipes, meal plans and my favourite brands and products.
We will address toxins, chemicals, personal care products, our environment and the impact on our health.

Sleep Hygiene
Ensuring we get enough sleep each night is vital to our overall health. Sleep is the only time our body gets to heal, detox and repair.
We will look at how to improve sleep hygiene, optimise circadian rhythm, and manage sleep issues.
We will discuss how blue light affects melatonin and sleep, and understand how we can reduce the negative effects of screen time on our sleep.
I will also share my favourite tips, resources, tech and products for the best nights sleep.

Movement & Exercise
Regular movement as well as exercise throughout the day is key for our health.
As actors and performers it is vital to take care of our body, as a huge demand is placed on it daily.
We will work with visiting professionals in the movement and exercise industry, to help keep our bodies flexible, healthy and strong.
We will also look at the impact of exercise on our health and particularly mental health.
Staying supple and relaxed in our body is key to vocal quality and stamina and creating your best work. Staying tension free is key for better clarity, diction and projection.

Mindset & Stress
A healthy mindset is key for Actors.
We will cover all things confidence, inner critic, self-motivation, goals and intentions, loneliness, and how to stay focused and positive whilst navigating the unique challenges of the industry.
Having daily practices in place to manage stress and reduce the negative impact on our health, is vital to performing our best and both enjoying and being able to sustain the work that we love.
I will offer powerful tools you can use to reduce anxiety and nerves around auditions and performance, so you never have to let this impact the quality of your work. Meaning you can deliver every time especially when it really counts.
